This is the house, nestled amongst the trees.
It is not a fancy house, but it is our house.
The classic, one-story, Texas ranch style is in an older, established 50-year old neighborhood. It sits on half an acre with four bedrooms, a study, family room, formal dining, sitting room, breakfast dining, sunroom (my favorite), large laundry room and four bathrooms. We are facing top to bottom remodeling of 3200 sq. ft and we cannot get started quick enough!
After a period of not owning a home, the purchase of this home means so much. We are remodelers, decorators, builders, furniture refinishers, and do-it-yourselfers. It has been hard not to be able to paint and change things to make it our own. Here we will share our remodeling, decorating, landscaping, building of things, refinishing furniture, and sewing projects.
My husband and I have known each other since we were 12 years old. We attended the same junior high school and the same church since that time. We are best friends and enjoy doing all these things together.
